Our Ministry Team
The spiritual health and direction of the church family is overseen by our Pastor and the Elders, under Jesus Christ as our Head and Chief Shepherd. The day-to-day functioning of the church family is overseen and served by a Board consisting of our Pastor, Elders and Deacons. Our Ministry team is:
Alana has been part of Basso Church for many years, and joined our Ministry Team in 2021. Alana is involved in supporting the women, and families within Basso Church. Her husband, Steve, is also one of our Elders at Basso Church.
Ian has been part of our church family for nearly 40 years. It’s here that Ian came to personally know the Lord Jesus when he was 18. In 1999 God called him to be a pastor at Basso. He also met his wife Colleen here and in 1984 they were married in the old chapel. Together they seek to faithfully serve the Lord.
We believe all Christians are called to be involved in ministry, not just our paid staff (Ephesians 2:10 & Ephesians 4:11-13). We encourage all members of the church family to be active in ministry, serving each other, encouraging each other to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, and taking every opportunity to share the Gospel in our circles of influence and in our community.
