Join the seniors for a day of fellowship and fun at Basso Church. We have a line up of activities planned to enrich our spirits and strengthen our bonds. Enjoy singing hymns, testing your knowledge with a friendly trivia game, explore your creative side with some artistic pursuits and share lunch together.
Our Annual General Meeting will be held on Sunday 20th October, 2024. We’ll be serving up a sausage sizzle after the morning service, and aiming to start the AGM in the Auditorium, at 12.30pm. Lunch is provided free.
This is a great time to hear what has been happening in the church over the last year, and be encouraged by God’s work in this place.
Basso will be hosting an 8 week course, open to everyone over 18, on sexual integrity. This course is beneficial, as we feel the effects of sexual brokenness in our world, and need God’s perspective. Sessions will include a video lesson, followed by group discussions (with men and women breaking off separately). Please contact Rod Manton if you are interested in attending.
Join us for a Burger and Movie night, with a showing of the film “Unsung Hero” rated PG. Funds raised will go toward the building work at church. “Based on a true story, this account follows a family that moves from Australia to the US in search of a brighter future. As they struggle to make ends meet, the couple discovers their children’s remarkable talents, leading them to become two of the most successful acts in contemporary Christian music.”
